Turkey is joining ICT PSP for 2009
ICT PSP Call 3bis, which is solely focusing on eParticipation, is open from 5th June to 23rd September 2009. It is based on the amended Work Programme 2009 of ICT Policy Support Programme. This Information Day offered the opportunity for interested organisations to learn more about the eParticipation objective addressed in Call3bis, the funding instrument to be used, and practical details on the submission of a proposal. It also offered a platform for attendees to identify potential partners and publicise their own ideas for projects.

The ICT Policy Support Programme (or ICT PSP) aims at stimulating innovation and competitiveness through the wider uptake and best use of ICT by citizens, governments and businesses.
Projects related to Call 2 will be published once the negotiations and contracts will have been finalised.

The third call for Proposals is now closed. The evaluation will be done by the end of June and the negotiations will start in September.

On 26 May 2009 a memorandum of understanding has been signed between Turkey and the European Commission for participation in ICT PSP. This memorandum should be ratified shortly by the Parliament of Turkey thereby making organisations from Turkey eligible for ICT PSP funding from 2009.
Call for Proposals 2009 3bis is now open The call for proposals for objective 3.5, e-Participation - empower and involve citizens in transparent decision making in the EU, opens on 5 June and will close on 23 September 2009. ICT Policy Support Programme
The programme builds on the aims of the previous e-TEN, Modinis and e-Content programmes and will support the aims of the new integrated strategy i2010 - European Information Society 2010.
